Introduction

Across Latin America, refugees are fleeing violence and hardship, searching for safety and dignity. Many arrive in Mexico with physical and emotional trauma—yet very little access to healthcare.

The Global Acupuncture Project (GAP) has been training healthcare providers since 2003 to bring simple, effective acupuncture treatments into underserved communities. Now, we are returning to Mexico to continue this vital mission.

The Mission

This February, we are gathering healthcare providers who have already completed GAP’s intensive training. Together, with the guidance of GAP Trainers, they will strengthen their skills in real-world settings and treat refugees.

Your support will cover training costs, travel, meals, lodging, and supplies—so both Trainers and Trainees can focus on healing.
