With shattered hearts, we share the devastating loss of our beloved Navya Gadusu, who tragically passed away in a car accident in Indiana near Chicago on May 16, 2026. She was only 25 years old. Navya is my niece and we are here immediate family here putting in our small effort to help her family

Navya came to the United States with the same hopes and dreams carried by so many international students — to work hard, earn her master’s degree, and build a brighter future for her family. She had recently completed her master’s degree and was preparing to begin the next chapter of her life with optimism, ambition, and determination.

Behind her success were years of sacrifice made by her parents in India. To support her education, they took on heavy financial burdens and even pledged the little land they owned so their daughter could pursue her dreams abroad. Navya carried those sacrifices with deep gratitude and worked tirelessly to make her family proud.

In a single tragic moment, everything changed.

The pain her family is experiencing is beyond words. Her parents are struggling to come to terms with the unimaginable reality that their daughter will never return home. Her younger sister is heartbroken and deeply shaken by this loss.

Those who knew Navya remember her as a kind, compassionate, and supportive person who was always there for others during difficult times. Friends continue to share stories of her warmth, encouragement, and caring nature — qualities that touched so many lives.

As the family navigates this heartbreaking tragedy, we are humbly asking for support to help ease the overwhelming financial burden they now face. All the funds will be sent to her parents who are the beneficiary and these funds will help them to cover:

* Transportation and repatriation expenses to bring Navya home to India

* Funeral and memorial arrangements

* Emergency family expenses

* Support for her grieving parents and younger sister as they rebuild their lives after this unimaginable loss.

The funds will be transferred to her family through bank transfer.

No parent should ever have to endure the pain of losing a child, especially after sacrificing everything to help her achieve her dreams.
