Last Monday my mother passed away suddenly in her sleep after waking up to get my two brothers off to school. Our family is still in shock and heartbroken by her unexpected loss. My older of my two brothers turned 19 a day later and is set to graduate in June, while my younger of the two is just 15 and still in school. My mom was not only a wonderful mother but also an amazing grandmother. Just the day before she passed, she was able to feel the belly carrying her future grandson—she was so excited for what was to come. She was taken from us way too soon, and she leaves behind many siblings, nephews, and nieces. She was always there to help those around her, offering support and kindness whenever someone needed it. We are struggling to come to terms with her absence.

We are now facing the difficult task of arranging her funeral and making sure my brothers have what they need to continue with school and daily life. The suddenness of her passing has left us unprepared for these expenses, and we want to honor her memory by giving her the farewell she deserves.
