Help Kenzie Train Her Service Dog
Donation protected
At the age of 4, Kenzie was diagnosed with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy called Bethlem Myopathy. She later developed a severe form of Scoliosis around the age of 11. At that time, Kenzie became extremely anxious and was unable to leave the house for over a year. After a feeding tube helped her gain weight and she was able to overcome her fear and anxiety, she went through a successful surgery for her scoliosis.
Now, confined to a wheelchair, but with an incredibly strong will and positive attitude, Kenzie and her family are looking towards the future.
So many of you have expressed a desire to support Kenzie. On behalf of the family, Kenzie’s Krew is looking to raise $25,000 to train a beautiful Golden Retriever, Bella, as a service dog to help Kenzie live a full and more independent life. In addition, several home improvements are needed to make the home wheelchair accessible.
