Heather Burchard, my youngest daughter, recently received the devastating news that she has breast cancer. She discovered a lump and, after a biopsy, learned it was cancer, even though her mammogram had come back negative. Since her diagnosis, Heather has been extremely tired and has very little energy, making each day a challenge as she prepares to start chemotherapy and radiation.

Heather is currently working, but the future is uncertain. Her medical insurance is tied to her job, and if she needs to take time off for treatment, she may lose that coverage. The mounting medical bills and daily expenses are already a heavy burden, and the possibility of losing her insurance adds even more stress to an already difficult situation.
