Hi, my name is Hannah, and I am the granddaughter of Debbie Williams.
On December 17th around 4:00 a.m., my grandmother was woken up by a neighbor alerting her that her house was on fire. Thankfully, she and her cat were able to get
out safely. However, her home suffered significant damage, and she will not be able to live there for the foreseeable future.
To make matters even more difficult, Debbie had been out of work from June through November and had just recently begun receiving a paycheck again. This unexpected tragedy has put her in an incredibly tough position as she works to recover and rebuild.
Any donation, no matter the amount, would be deeply appreciated and will go directly toward helping her get back on her feet during this difficult time. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser also means so much to our family.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers.
UPDATE
Hi everyone, thank you so much to those who have already donated—it truly means more than we can say.
After speaking with her insurance company, Debbie has been informed that she has a $2,500 deductible. Our next goal is to raise this amount so she can cover that cost and move forward with the process.
We also had a contractor come out today to provide an estimate. The cost for structural and cosmetic repairs alone is estimated to be between $20,000–$40,000, not including any electrical work that is needed.
Any donations, shares, or continued support are greatly appreciated as we work to help her get back on her feet.
