Support for Austin's Recovery

During the late evening of Sunday, January 22, 2017, 22 yr old Austin Hanlon was hit head on by an SUV that ultimately took the life of the driver and critically injured him and one other person. Austin was transported to Lawnwood Regional Trauma Center where he has already undergone several trauma surgeries with more scheduled for this Thursday to help give him the greatest chance of being able to walk again. Austin is the only son of my best friend from nursing school that has a very long, hard and painful road to recovery ahead of him and I'm putting aside all my pride and begging for our colleagues, friends and community to come together and help lessen the financial burden of this traumatic accident. Austin has a heart of gold and knows no strangers. His family and friends are two of the most important in his life and I know it would mean to world to him and them for any support and prayers that can be given. From the very bottom of my heart and Sheri's, we thank you in advance for prayers and well wishes for Austin. I will update this page as frequently as possible as we hear from the surgeons.
