Support for Alivia's Family in Trying Times

My name is Christy Jackson, I am a friend of this family, they have been through so much, losing Tara, their mother/wife just a few weeks ago, and now Alivia gettin into a very bad car accident the morning of June 27th.. Let’s do

what we can to help them during this trying time, anything and everything helps.

a little bit of what we know so far…

As many of you know late last night my sister Alivia was involved in an accident and was air lifted to Iowa City. Alivia broke both her femurs with one penetrating the skin. She broke her right forearm. She has cracked ribs. Cracked spine. Internal bleeding from the liver and spleen. She has a deep cut on her right knee and the extent of that injury is unknown. She received a couple units of blood and plasma. She has been in and out of consciousness and is heavily sedated. On the positive side, she was able to wiggle her toes which is a very good sign. She is currently in surgery and will be there for several hours. She will remain in the PICU after surgery. She has a long road ahead of her We love her so much and are hopeful that she will pull through ❤️ I will post more updates as they come along.

UPDATE.. 6/28

Update: Look who’s awake this morning! She’s still a little drowsy from the sedation and pain meds but she is awake and talking! She will have another surgery today on her femur to place rods. We are just so thankful she is awake!
