On December 26, I woke up in agonizing pain and was unable to walk or move. I went to the hospital where I was admitted for five days. I have degenerative disc disease, three bulging discs, and my sciatic nerve is being pinched by the discs. As someone with a physically demanding job and a single parent with no assistance from my child’s father, I need help.

I require seeing a chiropractor five days a week and will be requiring physical therapy, probably twice a week, with no ability to work. For the next two weeks, it comes out to $800 in copays and an additional $750 in alternative treatment options to help me get back to some semblance of a life. My daughter is also special needs and requires therapies outside of school which are all paid for out of pocket. It’s approximately $700 for those two weeks. The copays, alternative therapies, and therapies for my daughter will carry on even after those two weeks are over.

I hate asking for help but I very sincerely and truly need it right now. Anything and everything helps.
