My goal is to collect funds so my dear friend can get safe passage home to be reunited with his family as his current home is unsafe.

My friend Enzo is an amazing person. He has been successful with opening his own business of barbering and having deep conversations through the barber sessions. What makes him different than going to a barber shop is that he connects with his clients and talks about vulnerable subjects with his clients' permission. He also offers meditation sessions and counseling sessions through his education and Buddhist practices. Spirituality is at his core, and his authenticity and vulnerability create a safe place for his clients in an unsafe world we are currently living in.

Here is his website to see directly what he has created: Chiokoe

The challenge and reason for creating this GoFundMe is that Enzo is a BIPOC non-citizen who is facing discrimination because of his skin color in his current residence and place of work in Portland, Oregon. His mission is to connect with his community, and with the current ICE situation and groups targeting people of color, it has created an unsafe environment for him to continue his work and living in Portland. With the investment of starting his business and now needing to escape to feel safe, is the goal and reason of this GoFundMe. To help him move safely to where his family and community is and to feel safe to continue to help people. If you can donate to this GoFundMe, amazing. If you need counseling and support to get through these tough times, click on his website and book an appointment. He is challenging our current mental health institutions who charge 100+ for counseling to a very affordable price. Check it out for yourself and you will be amazed by the work he is doing. We need more people like him.

Please help my friend get safe passage so he can return home!
