My name is Elle & I'm a 25 year old woman with transgender experience.

I came out nearly 6 years ago & began my medical transition 3 years later. I'm very lucky to have access to the healthcare I need to live my life the way I have always wanted to.

On May 12th, I am taking the next step in my transition by undergoing simultaneous facial feminization & breast augmentation surgery. These are surgeries that I know will help further my transition, quiet ongoing internal gender dysphoria, & create greater safety for myself in this world.

For at least 4-6 weeks after my surgery I will be medically required to rest & take time off from work. At the moment I have 2 day jobs while also working as a DJ. In the past, May & June have been incredibly lucrative months for me, & at this time I have already had to turn down multiple large gigs because they fall during my recovery period.

Therefore, I am fundraising for the money I will lose by taking this time off from work. These funds will go towards: rent, bills, food, recovery supplies & transportation to and from the hospital for surgery and post-op appointments.
