Support Dottie’s Crucial Medical Journey and Relocation

This is my beautiful granddaughter, Dottie. She’s an 18-month old love bug who loves to socialize, be held, and bounce around the house with her siblings. Her favorite toys are her Fisher-Price Little People—she enjoys when her daddy sets them up on their play-sets so she can rip them down like King Kong. She just learned how to walk this week and has found a new love for chocolate chip cookies and Sun Chips. We call her our little Doot Bug. ❤️❤️❤️ Doot Bug is such a strong and resilient little girl who loves her family and friends very much. She brightens the room anytime she enters and loves to share.
Unfortunately, this sweet little girl was diagnosed with Hypercalcemia with no underlying cause by the amazing doctors at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado. Due to her age, the level of calcium in her blood and the calcium deposits in her kidneys, she is in need of further testing, analysis and treatments with pediatric specialists in various fields. She requires frequent blood testing for her calcium levels, and will be starting bisphosphonate infusions to drop her calcium levels to a more manageable level and to minimize bone loss.
As only the blood testing can be handled at our nearby hospital, and due to lack of pediatric specialists in Montana, Dottie and her family will need to move to the Denver area to be closer to the amazing doctors she met while staying at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado.
I have started this GoFundMe to help raise funds to assist this wonderful little girl with her health, and for their relocation to an area better equipped to do so. Funds will be used for medical expenses and relocation costs. Any assistance you can provide, including prayers, are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
