Hello! My name is Ava Gharib and I'm a second-year student at UCLA studying Global Health. In the past few days, Nepal has suffered a series of devastating flash floods destroying homes, schools, and entire communities, while claiming hundreds of lives, with thousands more unaccounted for. Several years ago, I had the privilege of shadowing in Dhulikhel Hospital, a prominent community hospital in the region.
