Support Danying Zhang's Healing Journey

Dear Danying's Supporters,

We want to share an important new initiative regarding Danying Zhang, a beloved school teacher at a private school in Honolulu, who was the victim of a horrific chemical attack at Ala Moana in January 2024. Since the attack, Danying has undergone numerous surgeries, with the most recent one completed just last month on August 21. Her road to recovery has been long, painful, and costly, but she remains resilient and hopeful.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of over 2,400 donors from across the country, our previous GoFundMe campaign, organized by the Chinese Chamber, raised nearly $200,000. This support has been crucial in aiding Danying’s recovery, helping her cover the extensive medical expenses and providing much-needed support during this challenging time.

As Danying continues her journey toward healing, we are launching a new GoFundMe campaign directly linked to her personal bank account. This will ensure that the funds are immediately available for her ongoing treatment, reconstructive surgeries, and future needs. We are reaching out once again to the community to ask for your support in helping Danying navigate this difficult road ahead.
