Support Dad-to-Be Anthony, Moto-Scooter Accident
Last week I almost lost my cousin forever. My aunt received news that no parent ever wants to hear: “your son has been in an accident.”
Hi, my name is Britany and I am here to share my cousin’s story…
On August 4, 2021, Anthony John Ochab -- son, brother, cousin, nephew, and most recently, father-to-be -- suffered a horrific moto-scooter accident, only a few short blocks away from home. He left the house that morning to open a new bank account to support his growing family, but never returned.
Anthony was transported to the hospital with multiple life-threatening injuries, including collapsed lung, broken ribs, and fractures of both his skull and spine. He will undergo spinal surgery today, but the extent of his injuries and future mobility is largely unknown.
Anthony surely has a long road of recovery ahead of him. With his first-born child expected to arrive in November, it is our hope that he is able to do something many parents take for granted: hold his newborn in his arms for the first time.
As difficult as this time may be, we trust in God and are so thankful that Anthony is still with us today. We ask for your prayers as he navigates this journey and your support for his family.
Any donations to help with medical expenses and caring for his newborn child would be more than helpful and greatly appreciated during this time.
Please donate if you are able to do so and share Anthony’s story with friends and family. No amount is too small.
Thank you so much and God bless!
