**UPDATE**

I just want to thank everyone who has offered their support so far - financial, emotional, physical and spiritual. It means the world to us. We have been overwhelmed with gratitude. Every call,every message, every like and share has lifted my mom’s spirits. We have read so many heartfelt comments on Facebook. It feels impossible to respond to everyone right now while trying to sort everything but we are doing our best to get in touch and respond. Your support is so so appreciated ❤️

Last night I woke up to one of the scariest things someone can hear. My sister told me my mom’s house was on fire. A fire started in her upstairs neighbour’s apartment. We are so beyond grateful that my mom made it out alive and there is nothing more important to our family. However my mom has lost basically everything to water and smoke damage and cannot return to her home. She is a single person on ODSP after multiple surgeries for her back and hip. Unfortunately she did not have tenant insurance as she was having trouble making ends meet to start with. The accumulation of her entire life was in her apartment. We graciously ask that if you are able to help her begin to rebuild her life that you consider donating.

My mom will also be looking for a one bedroom apparent (preferably ground floor) to live in and/or a trailer to use or borrow for the interim. Currently she will be bunking with one of my girls until we can make other arrangements.

Right now a couple things on our her wish list are:

-A tall Skinny Dresser

- A flexible desk lamp

- A small night stand with a drawer
