Support E.R.'s Journey to Health

Hello,

We are the proud grandparents (Andie and Rob) and parents to (Cody and Lexie) the parents of this little girl (E.R.) born at 26 weeks due to medical complications. Lexie had been hospitalized several times and at 24 weeks was admitted to the St. Paul Children's Hospital with complications. Towards the end of the 1st week in April, more complications arose and E.R., at just 1 lb. 13.6 oz and 14.1 inches long, was born via emergency C-section. She is doing well along with the mother but has a long road ahead of her and is looking at being in the hospital for several months. The out-of-pocket medical costs are mounting and becoming way beyond what the average family can afford.

A little about Cody and Lexie:

Lexie is currently on FMLA from her job. She works at a place about 2.5 hours from the Children's Hospital. Cody works as a Corrections Deputy for a local Sheriff's Department, which is about 1 hour from the hospital, and he is completing his schooling to become a patrol officer. His long work hours, along with the time for school, leave him little extra. He spends as much time as he can at the hospital with Lexie and E.R.

With that, they are splitting their time between the hospital and home to spend time with their other young daughter K.J. so she doesn't get left out of things.

All of this is amounting to a lot of time and money for commuting and medical costs that are beyond what their income can support. All proceeds will be used to help cover medical cost and support for the shortages due to lost work time.
