Support Ashley Vasquez: Overcoming Student Debt

I am writing to you as a proud healthcare professional who is struggling to stay afloat. I am a registered nurse, and I recently gave birth to my first child, a beautiful blessing who has filled my life with purpose but also deep concern for our future.

Despite working hard to achieve my education and serve my community, the crushing weight of my student loans through Sallie Mae has left me feeling hopeless. The payments have become so overwhelming that I had no choice but to move back into my mother’s basement with my newborn. I never imagined that after dedicating myself to caring for others, I would be in a position where I can’t provide the life my son deserves.

I am doing everything I can to stay afloat, but the loan payments are so high that I feel like I am drowning. I humbly ask if there is any way you could help, even directly assisting with my Sallie Mae loan. I know this is an unusual request, but I truly feel like I’ve exhausted all other options.

I want nothing more than to give my son stability, opportunity, and the upbringing every child deserves. I also want to continue serving as a nurse and contributing to our healthcare system without feeling buried under debt.
