American Rare Equine Heritage Ranch, Inc. is committed to the conservation of endangered American heritage equines, including Colonial Spanish bloodlines, while providing rescue, rehabilitation, and safe placement for horses in need.

But our mission doesn’t stop with the animals.

Through hands-on ranch experiences, we give foster youth and underserved teens something many have never had—

a safe place to learn, grow, and feel a sense of purpose.

Here, they don’t just visit a ranch…

they build skills, confidence, and connection through real agricultural work, animal care, and stewardship of a vanishing piece of American history.

We are proud to offer experiential learning opportunities, not therapy or formal academics—just real-life skills, mentorship, and meaningful experiences that can change a life’s direction.

Why We Need Your Help

Right now, everything we’ve built has come out of our own pockets—because we believe in this mission that much.

But to truly serve both the horses and the youth who depend on this program, we need community support.

We are currently seeking funding and donations for:

Horse trailer – to safely transport rescued and heritage horses

Feed for horses, pigs, and goats – to ensure proper daily care

Farrier services (4x per year) – critical for horse health and soundness

Round pen fencing – for safe training and youth interaction

Horse care supplies – grooming, medical, and handling equipment

For our foster youth programs:

T-shirts, notebooks, pens, markers, crayons, sunglasses

A covered gazebo space for learning and rest

A portable restroom (honey bucket) for sanitation and safety

Transportation tools and supplies for program access

Security cameras to ensure a safe environment for all participants
