Support Angel Scott's Fight for Stability

I, Angel Scott, finally and humbly come here to ask for your help. I am a former full-time caregiver to my mother, and a breast cancer survivor. Those two life events have left me financially destitute. I need to raise money to stop the foreclosure sale of my house, maintain mortgage payments until I can sell the house, and possibly lower my credit debt so that monthly payments are manageable.

How did I get here? After my mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor, underwent a successful surgery, radiation and rehab, she was however deemed to require full-time care. I gave the next ten years fulfilling the role of caregiver. During that time both of our savings were depleted. We managed on her pension and social security, and a small beneficiary pension that I received from my father. My mother died in December 2021. With that terrible loss also came the loss of her income, which I had anticipated. There was a pension payment which would give me a few months to recoup, figure out what I was going to do for a living after not having been formally employed for ten years, and find a job. What I didn’t anticipate was a breast cancer diagnosis, chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and reconstruction, or becoming physically debilitated. I’ve run through everything, including my credit. I have nothing left, except for the house.
