Save Ghaith and his family!

My name is Juniper and I am fundraising on behalf of my friends Anas Alsanea and Dana Abuyousef and their two year old son, Ghaith. Their home in Gaza was destroyed by bombs in the war, and they currently reside in Nuseirat Refugee Camp.

Please help this family seek asylum and escape war and famine. Your donations will be used for basic necessities during this crisis as well as to seek refugee status.

Please note that, excluding GoFundMe fees, ALL DONATIONS WILL GO TO THE FAMILY. Absolutely no commission will be taken for setting up this campaign.

THEIR STORY

Dana is a Palestinian lawyer. She is 26, was born in the UAE, and moved to Palestine when she was 6 years old. She studied Law at the University of Palestine. Here is a picture of Dana and Ghaith.

Anas was born in Saudi Arabia in 1995 and moved to Palestine in 2004. Here is a picture of him and Ghaith.

Dana and Anas married in 2021. They are both pictured below.

Ghaith is their first and only son. He is two years old and loves to draw.

Ever since the war began, prices increased. Now a pack of diapers cost twice as much as it did before. Here is a picture of Ghaith among the rubble.

Their home was bombed and they have lost everything. They were forced to move and they now are residing in Nuseirat Refugee Camp where 80,000+ displaced Palestinians are staying.

They do not have a stove nor gas, so their cooking area looks like this:

To start a fire, they use anything flammable they can find.

This is their former garden door that they have been breaking down to use for fire.

Despite their harsh conditions, Ana and Dana continue to support the entire Nuseirat community by volunteering at hospitals and working with teams on the ground to distribute aid.

HOW FUNDS WILL BE USED

With the invasion of Raffah, the recent massacre at Nuseirat, the threats of bombing and starvation, help is needed immediately. We hope this compassionate community is able to provide financial support. In the short term, the funds will be used to purchase basic necessities to keep the family alive. In the long term, your donations will also help the family evacuate.

The border fee service we will use is Hala Consulting and Tourism, an Egyptian Company that has increased its fees since the start of the war and exploited the plight of desperate Palestinians. Unfortunately, this is the only available company at the moment. The fees are $5000 per adult, $2500 per child.
