My name is Kelly Adamson, and I am a friend and coworker of Alex Ball. Many people have reached out asking how they can help, how they can show support, and how they can lift her up during this heartbreaking time.

Because of the outpouring of love from our small community, I created this GoFundMe as a way for us to come together and support her in the days and months ahead.

She recently lost her husband in a tragic car accident—an unimaginable loss for anyone, but especially for a young mother expecting their second child in April. What should have been a joyful season of preparing for their growing family has become a time of deep grief, uncertainty, and overwhelming responsibility.

As a teacher and coach in our district, she has poured her heart into her students, and her husband, also a teacher and coach, did the same. Our community has always valued compassion, connection, and stepping up for one another, and now it’s our turn to embrace her and surround her with the strength she has so often given others.

This fundraiser is intended to help ease the financial strain of:

Medical and maternity costs

Baby essentials

Support during maternity leave

Unexpected needs during this difficult transition
