Support Aldo: Car Lost in Fire

Hi, my name is German, and I’m reaching out on behalf of one of my closest friends, Aldo Charles.

Aldo’s the guy everyone counts on—funny, generous, and always showing up for his friends. We were hanging out that night watching the UH Men’s Basketball National Championship game, riding the highs and lows of every play. Even though the team didn’t take the win, we held our heads high, feeling nothing but gratitude—for the memories, the school that brought us together, and the friendship we’ve built along the way.

What we didn’t know was that the real loss was waiting for Aldo when he got home.

That night, his car suddenly caught fire and was completely destroyed. Thankfully, Aldo is safe—and for that, we are beyond grateful. But the car was his only mode of transportation. It got him to work, helped him support his family, and was a symbol of his hard work and independence.

Now, he’s left scrambling—without a vehicle, without a safety net, and without the freedom most of us take for granted.
