Hi, My name is Abby Hendley and I'm raising money for my mission trip to gleanings June 23-28. Gleanings is an organization that takes discarded grocery fruit, dries it, and sends it overseas to help feed people in need. I will be working at a peach plant where we sort, cut, and dry the peaches and package them up for distribution. Every week, gleanings sends out approximately 90,000 servings of dried fruit to those around the world who are hungry. The gleanings distributors also tell them about Jesus as they distribute the food.
