Support a Kind Soul in Desperate Times

After I was laid off from my job of almost 21 years I was able to use my savings to support paying my portion with my roommate situation. My roommate is moving out and I don't know what to do. When I had money, I always helped loved ones and friends when I could. Now I'm reaching out to strangers to help me. I've always been a good man; I'm kind to everyone I meet.
