Support a Family Battling Colorectal Cancer

It’s been an unfortunate event that has impacted myself and my family. I have been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. As I keep receiving information regarding my diagnosis, I keep sinking deeper and deeper with medical bills. My insurance has covered a vast part of my bill, but they have not been able to cover everything. As I advance with my treatment, my body is feeling it. Radiation and chemotherapy are both working and doing what they’re supposed to, but I am also feeling fatigued, burnt, and sore. I do have 2 little ones, ages 8 and 4, which has been hard on them as well because they still do not understand the process of medicine. They want dad to be healthy again and be able to enjoy time with them. My wife, with the little she earns, has been able to maintain food on our table and has struggled with my diagnosis. I am grateful for still having a job and being able to continue working through this, but it has not been easy. The world keeps turning and bills of living continue rolling in. I am asking for help to cover some medical bills I have received and will continue to receive as I am not able to foresee the future. This is not asking for everything; a little bit goes a long way. Ha sido un evento desafortunado que me ha afectado a mí y a mi familia. Me han diagnosticado cáncer colorrectal. A medida que sigo recibiendo información sobre mi diagnóstico, sigo hundiéndome cada vez más con las facturas médicas. Mi seguro ha cubierto una gran parte de mi factura, pero no han podido cubrir todo. A medida que avanzo con mi tratamiento, mi cuerpo lo está sintiendo. La radiación y la quimioterapia están funcionando y haciendo lo que se supone, pero también me siento fatigado, quemado y adolorido. Tengo 2 pequeños de 8 y 4 años, lo que también ha sido difícil para ellos porque todavía no entienden el proceso de la medicina. Quieren que papá vuelva a estar sano y pueda disfrutar del tiempo con ellos. Mi esposa, con lo poco que gana, ha sido capaz de mantener la comida en nuestra mesa y ha tenido problemas con mi diagnóstico.
