Support a community hub for books, coffee, art and games

In my youth, I spent countless joyful hours in small independent coffee shops and bookstores. Over the years I saw them close down or be pushed out by large coffee chains, which left me with a sense of deep loss. These were vital hubs of community and connection. I began to dream of recreating a place like those I had loved. Recently I received the means to pursue that dream.

Rather than the cold and transactional nature of nationally franchised coffee chains, we aim to serve our community by providing an inclusive home for people who love coffee, books, games, art and more. In our cozy in store location, we will sell coffee sourced from local roasters who share our vision of supporting our community and community businesses. We will also sell new and used books and provide a safe, comfortable place to enjoy them. In addition, we will have local artists who can showcase and sell their art from the shop, support local musicians, and also plan to provide space to tabletop game lovers of all kinds.

Customers will benefit from the rich atmosphere of art with a personalized experience absent from large coffee chains. Anyone who has ever loved a book or an artwork is who we aim to provide a home, with fine coffee to go with it. The community will be strengthened by the connections made by sharing all the things we love, together.
