Hey Everyone!
I’ve never done anything like this before and I’m totally out of my comfort zone; but I really feel like God has put this on my heart to do. So, I thank you in advance for your prayers, your love, and your support.
This month I will be traveling to Ghana, West Africa with an organization known as the African Initiative Mission (AIM). AIM was founded with the hope of helping impoverished people. On this mission, we will be traveling to underdeveloped villages in Ashanti, Volta and the Upper West Regions of Ghana. We will be leading an all girls’ conference emphasizing education, health, and business sustainability. For 2 weeks, we will spread love, service and the empowerment of education, as we bring about the change we wish to see.
For those of you who are wondering what I’ve been up to... I’m happy to tell you that I have just finished my first semester in graduate school at the University of Southern California, where I am currently working towards my Masters in Teaching. Here in Los Angeles, I have been faithfully involved in my church as well as my community. This year I was blessed to travel to Cape Town & Johannesburg, South Africa with Habitat for Humanity and the Faithful Central Bible Church, where I contributed to the construction of 17 homes. In addition, I have worked on several projects, helping inner city students.
This year God has led me on a ride of love, service, and passion. As I continue, I pray that you are able to take part in my journey. If, 150 people give $20 I can reach my goal of raising $3,000. If you are able to give more, please do what you can. My final deadline to reach this goal is Sunday, August 10th. You can give on this page, or you can contact me directly.
