Hey! We are a group of students at the University of Bristol. Iona, Millie, Pia, Ella and Isabel, searching for funds to create a short film for our final year project. Making this film is important to us because we want to be able to successfully develop a large scale project. It is our first taste of a year long assignment which is incredibly exciting! We hope to be able to send our film to a festival once it is finished, which would be incredibly beneficial to our future careers in the industry.

Our film will explore themes of memory, nostalgia and familiar relationships. When her sister moves abroad, 17-year-old Mira drifts between memory and reality in a home heavy with loss. Whilst the tides of grief pull her back to the past, she learns that love endures even in absence, as her father’s quiet support brings her back to shore.

These funds will be used to pay and cater for our actors, which will make shooting days more comfortable. Also, travel and accommodation for the shooting period. Finally, props and any items needed for our set!
