Stroke Survivor Facing Crisis – Let’s Lift Jennifer Up

In May 2025, Jennifer O’Neill’s life changed in an instant.

Jennifer suffered a stroke that left her with ongoing challenges— memory loss, difficulty walking, and visual impairment. While she has fought hard to recover, these lasting effects have made daily life, and especially working, extremely difficult.

Jennifer lives alone and was working as a clinic receptionist, a role she truly valued. Unfortunately, due to her cognitive and vision limitations after the stroke, she lost her job.

Since then:

Her disability application is still pending

Her unemployment was denied

Her car has been repossessed

She is now at immediate risk of losing her home

Despite all of this, Jennifer continues to show incredible strength. She is doing everything she can, attending medical appointments, following through with care, and trying to rebuild her life.

But right now, she cannot do this alone.

Recover her vehicle so she can attend medical appointments and meet basic needs

Pay rent TODAY

Next 3 Months:

Rent to prevent eviction

Food and daily living expenses

Utilities (power, water, propane)

Health insurance, Vehicle insurance, Renter's Insurance

Gas

Continued care with her primary care provider and neurologist

As Jennifer’s friend and a nurse practitioner who has worked with her, I will be personally managing this GoFundMe to ensure funds are used appropriately and efficiently.

Funds will be paid directly to the companies providing essential services, including:

Rent

Utility companies

Insurance providers

Medical-related costs

Grocery card

Gas card

This structure helps reduce stress for Jennifer and ensures every dollar goes exactly where it is needed.
