48/10 Ride Against Child Abuse

Since 1979 the National Exchange Club's  National Project has been the prevention of child abuse.  Because one in four girls and one in six boys will be sexually abused before they turn 18, local Exchange Clubs around the United States support a variety of child abuse prevention efforts -- from the donations that the Utah Valley Exchange Club makes to the Family Support and Treatment Center to the The Hamilton House Child and Family Safety Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas and the Family Tree Center  in Billings, Montana.

From June 22 through July 1 (just 10 days!), five intrepid motorcycle riders and one ridiculously committed passenger will travel to each of the 48 continental United States to raise awareness -- and funds -- for the prevention of child abuse.  Your donations will help fund the Exchange Club's efforts to protect children from abuse.

You donation will go directly to the National Exchange Club Foundation, which will distribute the funds to the local Exchange Club that you designate -- so be sure to tag the your local club in the comment for your donation (i.e., #UtahValley).  If no local club is tagged, the funds will be used by the National Exchange Club Foundation to support the Exchange Club's programs of service, including the national project -- the prevention of child abuse.
