AT&T is proposing a 70-foot cell tower, a 281-square-foot telecom facility, and a diesel generator with a 54-gallon fuel tank right in the middle of Cadman Park, just steps from playgrounds, ball fields, and Cadman Elementary School.

This is not just a visual intrusion, it’s a major land-use overreach in a public park.

It Brings Real, Long-Term Risks:

Air pollution from diesel emissions

Fire hazards from fuel storage

Noise and disruption from generator operations

A permanent industrial facility in a green space meant for recreation

Cadman Park Belongs to the Community

We don’t want a cell tower looming over our kids' playground.

We don’t want diesel fumes in our park.

We don’t want a private telecom facility in a public green space.

We want oversight, alternatives, and accountability. If we don’t stop this now, no park in San Diego is safe from being treated as telecom real estate.
