Steve Swanson passed away unexpectedly on September 7th, 2018.
Steve had an extraordinary life, from his early career in music, playing with such legends as Wayne Cochran and the CC Riders, Buddy Rich, and many others, his second career as a traffic manager importing some of the first Toyota's into the US, and finally as a journeyman machinist. He was happiest when playing music, whether it was on a large stage, in a nightclub, or at home, giving lessons, or just for fun.
Steve's battle with neck cancer left him unable to play his trumpet as well as he would have liked, but his love of music and friends never dimmed. Steve's sense of humor, good friendship, and care for his friends and family will be missed by us all.
Thank you for all of your support during this difficult time. Each one of you has made a significant impact on Steve's life. He loved you all.

His Celebration of Life service will be held on October 20th at the Elks Club in Bremerton, WA .
Steve's life partner, Linda Carroll is taking care of the final expenses.
