Hi my name is shannon. As alot of you are aware my mam Michelle Staves suddenly passed away on the 17/06/25. This was a massive shock to me, steve & all our family. Such a void in our lives so much so that Steve O'mahony who has been my mams partner for 8 years, they was absolutely inseparable and was life long companions as they both had mental health issues but they truly understood eachother like nobody else. Steve sadly and tragically took his own life on the 14th July just 3 days after michelles funeral. Again this was a massive shock; we really didn't want to do this but due to us just paying for my mams funeral which are very expensive & steves family not been in his life for 15years, we felt this is a neccasary action to take as he deserves respect and dignity & to be resting properly and also at least have a service. My mam would not forgive us if we didnt try our best to make this possible. This has been a very very difficult time for us and im very sad to be having to post this.
