Help Steph raise funds for her cancer treatment

Steph is my best friend. Mum to Henry, Felix, Lucy and Imogen. Wife to Jon, a sister, a daughter, a godmother and cat mummy. Steph was diagnosed with Stage 4 bowel cancer in May 2022. Life was normal and then overnight it wasn't. Steph has had over 12 months of aggressive chemotherapy and we have now set up this page to raise funds for Steph to receive additional treatment which is not funded by the NHS in England. Hello, it’s Steph here. As Nina has said I am currently undergoing treatment for stage 4 bowel cancer. I am trying to extend my life as long as possible primarily so I can care for my 4 dependent children and my husband Jon.

There is a treatment (Bevacizumab) which is currently only available privately in England and which I cannot afford. It is widely available in other countries such as the USA. The costs vary per hospital and patient weight/height. I would receive 2 treatments per month.

It should become clear during the first 6 months if the treatment is working. If it is, I carry on fundraising. If it’s not working, your donations can be reinvested.

I will keep you posted as to how the treatment goes.
