Hi, I’m David. We are raising money on behalf of my sister-in-law, Carina Franquez. Carina is a heart and kidney transplant recipient. She received both a heart and kidney transplant in June of 2021. She has two children, Henry and Jazlene.

Henry is 13 and Jazlene is 15.

Just this year, her body began to reject the heart, and she has been critically ill. Although we know that some people may live for years with rejection, her biggest worry is she wants to make sure her kids will be okay financially if she does not make it.

After the transplant, Carina worked two jobs and managed to save up some money while still paying for her medication and everything else needed for herself and her kids. With that being said, Carina has been prepared for this moment but would like a little more just to leave behind to her two children.

She properly planned her final days for when they come and managed to take care of some of those items with the money she saved.

The money donated would be given to her kids as well as cover any other debts Carina has left, just so the burden doesn’t fall on her kids or other family members.
