My name is Adam. I am 46 years old, married, and a father of 3. Last year, I was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Failure. I have to go to dialysis 3 days a week for 4 hours at a time. I have not been medically cleared to work. Dialysis takes a toll on you. Some days, you have no energy at all. This has been a very difficult time for me and my family.

I am currently awaiting approval on social security; however, they said it could be up to 7 months before I get any answers. Currently uninsured, but hopefully, that will change within the month. I should have been better prepared for something like this. Not sure where I would be without my family, but I was hoping to be able to help them out some. It’s frustrating not being able to take care of anyone. I just don’t want to be a burden. Any amount is helpful.
