Stand with Justin: AVM and ABI supprt

Support Justin through overcoming an acquired Brain Injury.

Hello, I am Justin’s sister, Michaela. My brother, Justin, who just only turned 20, suffered an AVM rupture which resulted in a major brain bleed. I am creating this fund to help my family with Justin’s medical expenses. Any contributions will help alleviate the financial burdens and support Justin’s recovery.

On September 24th, Justin was complaining of a headache which led to vomiting, stroke, and respiratory failure. In a CT scan, they were able to find a brain bleed that needed emergency surgery to remove half of his skull. Since then, Justin was in the ICU for 27 days, moved to a rehab hospital, and is currently waiting for his cranioplasty surgery to get his skull back on. He has suffered major brain damage that will need months to years of recovery. He will need to learn how to walk , talk, and basically re learn everything . Despite these obstacles, we are remaining strong and determined to be supportive of Justin. My mother, Amy Davis, has taken all of her time to be there with Justin and ultimately will become his caregiver. She is there with him almost all day, every day, learning new training since Justin does need 24/7 care with maximum assistance with all daily things.
