Stand With Colette In Her Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Many of you know Colette Beard, the vibrant and friendly face of Clackamas River Racquet Club who greets us all with a smile that brightens our day. Colette, who turns 27 this February, has been diagnosed with an exceptionally rare cancer called Epithelioid Sarcoma. With only around 1,000 known cases globally, this is truly a one-in-a-million diagnosis.
We are incredibly grateful to have the specialized care of Mayo Clinic's experts, who are dedicated to treating this rare type of cancer. Mayo Clinic's team emphasized the importance of an aggressive and rapid treatment approach to maximize Colette's chances of survival and remission, and so far, their efforts are showing promise. However, Colette will need to undergo another round of surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona.
Epithelioid Sarcoma is notorious for its tendency to reoccur. Mayo Clinic has outlined a comprehensive plan for Colette that includes regular MRI scans every three months and a lifetime of surgeries to maintain her remission and keep the cancer at bay.
We humbly ask for your support in helping Colette in her brave fight. Your contributions will assist with medical expenses, travel costs for treatment in Arizona, and ongoing care to ensure Colette has the best chance at a long, healthy life. Please join us in this effort to give Colette the greatest gift of all – the opportunity to continue lighting up our lives with her presence.
Thank you for your kindness and support. Let's help Colette stay in this world.
