Stand by Ray: Overcome Hit and Run
Donation protected
My name is Ray and I was a victim of a hit and run at Winter Park ski resort on January 31st 2024. This incident left me in need of surgery of on both my wrist and clavicle bone and unable to provide for myself financially or physically. I was skiing straight on a cat track, at the end of our day, and a full grown man collided into me from behind, slamming me into the ground so hard that it snapped my clavicle bone and broke my wrist. He then proceeded to leave me crying and screaming on the ground with my 3 young children that I nanny for standing by and witnessing the whole thing. I had to guide my children, shuffling in serve pain to the base of the mountain to meet their parents. I then got mountain medical aid and was rushed to the emergency room where I discovered I needed surgery and mental plates in both my wrist and collar bone. I have been in the depths of despair wondering how another human being could leave me in that condition with my 3 kids. I need help. If you can support in anyway it would mean the world to me and my family who is now having to care for me both physically and financially. Thank you for reading my story.
