St Theresa School Class of '79

Hello St. Theresa School Class of 1979-
It was great to see so many people at the 40th class reunion at McGonigal's in Barrington last Saturday! Thanks to Mike Updike, Cate (Sullivan) Grant, Chris Klaczek and Colleen (Killian) Curran for organizing the night and a special shout out to Paul McKinney and his band for great retro-music.
St. Theresa's remains an important Catholic educational solution in the heart of Palatine. The school has strong enrollment, but to remain competitive with the resources of the public system, our school could use some financial aid. Technology and classroom resources allow the 21st century version of Mrs. Murphy or Mrs. Watts to deliver engaging and relevant lessons to their classrooms.
Think about your favorite St. Theresa memories like Hot Dog Day or an 8th grade dance in the "hall". All my best memories include the friends I made, and still have, from St. Theresa. Let's help to create new memories and friendships for the current Trojans.
Please consider making a contribution to this fund to support St. Theresa Catholic School during the Holiday Season. Also, please spread the word to parents or siblings who enjoyed many years on Benton Avenue. A goal of $2,000 has been set and the fund will be open through December 31, 2019. In early January, the funds will be delivered to the Principal to show support from our community.
A quick bio about the instigator of this fund: my name is Tom Meagher and I am a proud member of the Class of 1979. My wife, Mary and I have three children and we live in the Northwest suburbs just a few miles from St. Theresa.
God Bless,
Tom
