SPCC Bay to Bay for Ken'Ya Help Day

Donation protected
This year St Phillip’s Christian College is getting a team to run the Bay to Bay and we need YOUR help to sponsor them. The sponsorship money goes straight towards Ken’Ya Help Day.

Ken’ya Help Day is an annual fundraiser at St Phillip’s Christian College that raises money for two schools in Kenya; Mission in Action Orphanage and School and Stewards Light school. The money we raise goes towards teacher salaries, school resources, and a bakery for Stewards Light School to help them become self-sufficient.

In 2015, Principal Mrs Cairelli visited Kenya with her son Simon as part of an end of year mission trip. Mrs Cairelli fell in love with the people and the schools and came back to St Philip's with a desire to support these schools and their work for Christ. When reporting back to the College on her trip, Zara Matthews in Year 2 at the time caught Mrs Cairelli's vision and went about raising money to support these schools. With the support of her family and teachers, Ken'ya Help Day was born.

To date we have raised over $30,000 AU and are striving to make that number climb higher.

We thank you in advance for helping us to support our friends in Kenya!
