Hello,

I’m Emily, Sophie’s big sister. We tragically lost our little sister, daughter, wife and auntie this week.

Charlie and Sophie had spent most of their savings on their wedding, which was not even two years ago and with the rising costs of funerals we are struggling to find money to give Sophie the send off she deserves. Full of flowers, colour and love. My parents are donating a big chunk of money each but it would be great if we would be able to help raise a share of money also to help Charlie with her portion of the funeral costs. Thankyou everyone for sharing your lovely memories and photos of Sophie with me over the last couple of days. Every single one has had me in tears. It is a great thing to be loved as widely as she is!

We don’t have a funeral date yet but as soon as we do we will share information and anyone Sophie knew and loved throughout her life is welcome to join us in celebrating the precious time we had with her.

Sophie’s Funeral will take place on Thursday 18th September.

Sophie requested the dress code be colourful and bright. Her favourite colours were purple, pink and yellow

Sophie asked that everyone who knew and loved her be welcome to attend. If Sophie made an impact on your life, however small, we would love to see you all there.

The service will take place at the One Church in Leicester (LE3 5AG). The service shall start promptly at 11am please arrived between 10-10:30. There is limited parking and family parking will be priority, so you may benefit from parking at John Lewis/ High Cross and walking over.

A wake shall follow at the Italian Greyhound (LE8 9GF) from 2pm if people wish to join for the Wake only that is also fine.
