Smith and Blair Families House Fire
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Megan and I am friends with the Smith and Blair families. Thursday 12/28/23, they woke up at 5am to their house on fire. Thankfully all who were home and their 4 dogs, cat, and various reptiles all made it out unharmed. The fire was contained to one bedroom, however the damage to the rest of the house will take months to fix. This happened just 2 weeks after their basement flooded and all of their Christmas presents were destroyed. As many of you know I reached out on their behalf then and you all responded with such generosity and love. The families are extremely grateful. This time we are looking to help raise some funds as they have huge upfront expenses to cover. They were only able to leave with the clothes are their backs and this fund will help with increased gas’s bills and clothing, personal hygiene items, food, etc. The funds will also be for living expenses for when the limited insurance runs out since they will be displaced for more months than the insurance will cover.
