Our dear friend Wayne needs a hand (and some teeth!). Wayne is an Ojibway activist and social service worker who has dedicated his life to advocating for urban indigenous peoples as well as living the grolsch-life dream.
On October 30th 2010, Wayne was jumped while walking down the street, this incident left him with serious facial injuries that have lead to tooth loss today.
Even though he is a rockstar and never asks for financial support, we’ve asked Wayne to let us organize this fundraiser to help cover the costs of dental implants. So far we have received a quote for approximately 20 000$. We are currently looking into valable alternatives like dental tourism or a dentist that will do subsidized work. Our goal is to raise 10 000$. We will update the gofundme with more information as we go.
As most of you know, Wayne is a riot and an important member of the indigenous community here in Montreal. He has had a tough year and could really benefit from a new set of grills.
