AKTIV Learning Academy Needs Help!

We are reaching out to our community for help. Over 90 plus schools in Florida have not received payment due to administrative issues. For the past 18 years, school voucher payments have always been September 1, we are now on the fifth week of school and no payment has been processed. We have spoken with SUFS, but no one can give you a set date on when they will deposit payments. AKTIV Learning Academy is a small private school, open eighteen years that serve students with all levels of Autism, behavioral difficulties and learning impediments. Our goal has always been to help as many students with Autism, specifically the students that other school do not have the expertise or resources to accommodate. We work hard for our student to be able to attain their academic, functional, social and daily living skills/goals. Along with giving our student's a safe space to grow and be themselves in their school environment.

How can you help? At this moment our school is struggling financially due to late payment and use of all our resources. We don't know when we will receive payment and are trying to at least cover our basic needs like paying our teachers and operational cost.
