Silverio's Family Lost Everything In House Fire

Hi, I'm Brett Weber, Farm Manager of Fall Creek's Pleasant Hill Farm. Silverio Vasquez is a dedicated 20-year employee of Fall Creek - a team leader in our production department.

On the morning of July 27th, Silverio and his family’s (wife, son, and daughter) house burned down in a fire that destroyed nearly all their belongings. The fire burned through 12 adjoining apartments with extreme fire going through the attic and the exterior of the buildings. The responding firefighters were challenged with putting out the fire due to a downed powerline that restricted access.

The fire descended from the attic and completely destroyed the kitchen and living room; however, the majority of items in the bedrooms were also destroyed due to smoke and water damage.

Thankfully, everyone in Sil’s family is safe and there were no reported injuries from any of the residents.

Sil and his family are currently staying with family members until they are able to move into a new apartment in the next few weeks. This GoFundMe is to help Silverio and his family raise enough funds to get into a new apartment and to replace clothing and furnishings in their new place.
