Your voice matters!

Express your support for the Federal workers in Southeast Alaska who have lost their jobs or under threat of losing their jobs, including those working for the US Forest Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Weather Service, National Marine Fisheries Service and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Alaska’s federal employees do important work and they are our neighbors. These mass firings and proposed cuts compromise Alaska’s safety, stability and prosperity. These actions hurt individuals, families, communities, our state and our economy.

This GoFundMe will go to paying for a full page ad in the Juneau Empire on Saturday March 8, that will include the names of Alaskans who sign up to stand with Southeast Alaska federal employees. We will include digital displays as funding allows. Donate if you can, and add your name for display even if you can’t donate.

We want a powerful display of many Alaskans. Your name will only appear in the ad if you sign up on the Google form. In order to meet the print deadline, you must sign the form by Wednesday, March 5 at 9am.

You can then bring the printed ad with you when you visit the offices of our congressional delegation, or circle you name and put it in the mail to them and ask what their plan is to stop these firings and cuts!
