Woofs for Autism

Donation protected
Donate now to help three young children with Autism find freedom, peace of mind, safety, acceptance, hope and normalcy through service dogs. If you would like to donate to a specific child involved with this campaign please leave a comment with your donation!! 100% of the $30,000 raised will go to the training of all 3 service dogs. Each child already has found a suitable dog for training through help from the #1 dog trainer in Utah, Ty Brown of Canine Communication. Cost of training per dog is $10,000.

Children with Autism are often drawn to water and other dangerous situations. Accidental drowning accounts for 90% of the deaths of children with Autism (AWAARE). This campaign is raising money to get service dogs for three young children with Autism who are often drawn to water and other dangerous situations.

The simple presence of a service dog has been shown to keep children out of harm's way while also lowering blood pressure, calming the child, and providing outlets for interaction for a child who can't seem to 'fit in' anywhere else.

Families of children with Autism often struggle on a daily basis to keep their children out of harms way while also leading a normal life. Sometimes it is impossible for these parents and children to find peace of mind in the most simplest of situations.

Please help protect these children by donating now.
A successful campaign will mean peace of mind, hope, security, freedom and safety for these three children with Autism, and many more children with Autism if we are able to exceed our goal of $30,000.

Words from the parents of these children:
"Everything we do and everywhere we go has potential dangers for DJ. Having a trained service dog will give us security knowing he is safe."

"Most people don't know that our kids are prone to wandering and that they are attracted to water. They run into traffic, they don't respond to their name when called, and they don't understand danger."

"Autism affects every facet of our lives. It is always a beautiful thing when we join forces to help one another."

"I chose the word comfort for this campaign because I believe in and have the experienced in my own life of the healing power of animals."

"It's a lonely, daunting task any time you are trying to get the funds together to get something your child with Autism needs."
