Sefer Torah in memory of our father Jonathan Z''L
Donation protected
To our dear family, friends and community,
As you may know, our father Jonathan unexpectedly passed away in March 2022 at the young age of 57.
Although it has been a heartbreaking and challenging journey, we are committed and devoted to helping our father’s neshama have the highest Aliyah possible.
If someone were to ask us what the one thing our father consistently remained passionate about throughout his life is, the answer would undoubtedly be the Torah.
No matter the struggles and obstacles he had to overcome, his love for Judaism and G-d truly always persisted.
While sitting shiva for him in Israel, we were deeply touched by the visitors coming to tell us how much our father meant to them, but more importantly were in awe of the procession of Rabbis and scholars coming to tell us how devoted our father was to his beloved Shuls and Kollel.
“Your father never missed a prayer; we could always count on him. We will miss him deeply”.
He spent the last 10+ years of his life completely devoted to Torah studies and prayers, which is why we strongly feel like the best gift we can give him as his children is to have a Sefer Torah written in his memory.
The Sefer Torah is currently being written in Israel and will be completed by his Yarzeit on Purim 2023 B’’H.
We invite you to participate in this Mitzvah, whether financially or by helping us spread the word to help us complete this Sefer Torah.
“When the Israelites built the tabernacle, some brought gold, some brought copper, some contributed the work of their hand, and some contributed the wisdom of their hearts, all of which were necessary and invaluable”.
Daddy, we miss you every day and will do whatever we can to make you proud.
